Resistant to the elements and crafted from bullet-proof polycarbonate, the OGOcase protects your Dexcom from almost anything you or Mother Nature can throw at it.
Life with type 1 diabetes is hard enough, worrying about keeping your Dexcom continuous glucose monitor safe are something we shouldn't have to add to the list. OGOcase was developed by a type 1 diabetic out of a need to protect these devices from damage from things like water, snow, mud and hard drops. It's sturdy enough to protect the Dex but low profile enough to easily carry in your pocket.
Kerry Elliott, the creator of OGOcase has lived with type 1 diabetes for over 30 years. He enjoys mountain biking and is an active member of the Canadian Ski Patrol, he also loves any sport he can do in the water. Before he created the OGOcase, Kerry struggled to keep his Dexcom safe from water, snow, mud, and the occasional (but sometimes hard) wipe-out.
Kerry thought up the OGOcase while he was enjoying water sports on Lake Okanagan in British Columbia (pictured here, on the day he came up with the idea). He had no way of bringing the Dexcom with him out on the water, which meant leaving it on the beach and out of range. It was then he decided to develop a protective case for the Dexcom so that it would never have to be left behind again
